Question of the day???
So, at work today I was "psssssted" at, followed by "Come here" with the finger pulling me in close and the question asked next was....."Are you black?" huh!!!!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....What??????
then the person said, "You know, you have black ways about you?"
I tried HARD to get more details and figure out what that means and I am still not quite sure but I was told I am a "Real" person and don't front or change who I am and still remain professional.
Okay, I'll take that.
WERD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS I got my hair cut off.... 7 inches, SEVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yup!!! in the back of my head it looks like a blonde curly afro!!!!
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BAHA! I find this particularly funny because I get similar remarks all the time. See, mine just differ in some people awkwardly leaning in to ask me if I'm white because I have "white ways" about me. People... They make me laugh. Did this person think you were Mulatto sans any of the Mulatto physical characteristics perhaps? Were they ignorant? No really. That's just not something I can see someone w/a minimal amount social awareness asking in a non-kidding way. Seriously though, I can only imagine how hard you wanted to laugh.

HAAA!!!! Well then, there you go. No wonder this coworker had some confusion regarding your ethnic background.
I can't wait to see your new 'do!
