So I am a Mom of a Cheerleader
and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love going to pratice and I love helping out!!! I am so proud. Ty and I do the chants all the way home from pratice, while she almost knocks me out cause she is trying to do the movements with her hands in the car. She is so pumped up after practives. The coach has this cd with a song on it, not sure what the real name is, but they all call it the "Ice cream and cake" song that she plays everyday when practice is over and all the girls LOVE it and DANCE together. It is a beautiful bond the squad has developed and I love all the girls. They truly are all very pleasent, respectful, polite and just down to earth girls. I have also found in talking with the girls and the parents we all share similar values, so I know that makes a difference. We had our first game last Sat. and the girls did really well, they all tried to pay attention to the game and was intense about learning when it was appropriate to do which cheer. When the players got hurt, they all dropped to one knee and cheered HARD when the player got up and walked off the field. It was a great experience. By the time the game was over the girls were wiped out, they had opening day at 9 and then the game at 3, so they basically had two hours to relax and eat in between.
This is something I never thought I would have the experience with and I definitely didn't think I would enjoy it as Ty started with the "I want to be a cheerleader", but I really am enjoying it, all of it!!! I am so proud of my baby and her dedication and determination.

Awww, look how gorgeous! She is undoubtedly the perky one and Tricia is such the more introspective cynic. It's so interesting to see them grow even more individually. I'm sure she'll always be grateful that you supported her in this step that she was so excited about having the opportunity to take in her life!

I would love you even harder than I do now if you'd just update your blog a wee bit. Even if just to say
"Hi, today is Tuesday. Life is good. Here's a pic of my girls from this past weekend. Hi Clussy!"
Si?
Por favor?
I love you, blinding ray of sunshine.
